I came to Nealey with a problem, unrelated to automotive work. I repair major appliances and was having trouble removing 1.5” nut from a washer transmission. Anthony and Hugo cheerfully used their shop tools to remove the stubborn nut which had caused me hours of grief. I truly appreciate their collegial attitude and invaluable Assistance. I will look no further than Nealey’s when searching for friendly and trustworthy automotive repairs.

I came to Nealy after making an online appointment for an oil change and transmission flush. I loved how easy it was to book the appointment. While my car was being assessed they found that I needed urgent bushing replacements. It’s a pricey service so I was thanking they offer financing through a few carriers. Though it did take a while to get my car back, they provided a loner car which was very helpful. Hugo was very apologetic for the delay as well as communicated the steps along the way. He also made sure my car was up to par before I returned back to pick it up. Overall I’m pleased with the services and I will return.

Outstanding experience at Nealey Tire & Auto! Much appreciation to Clinton, Chase, Anthony, and Hugo for their professionalism and straight-up honesty. I brought in a Jeep I was considering purchasing and took advantage of their complimentary pre-purchase inspection. The team was thorough, walked me through their findings, pointed out areas of concern, and gave me the information I needed to make a sound decision. What impressed me just as much was how they treated every customer who walked through the door. The interactions were genuine, respectful, and professional. You can tell these guys take pride in their work and value their customers. I live in Silver Spring, so it's not a short drive, but integrity, quality service, and good people are worth the trip. They've earned my trust and future business. Highly recommend!

Run. They promise you one thing in person, they charge you another thing. Accuse you of lying. They aren’t willing to correct their invoices to be accurate while giving a verbal contradiction, then holding you to the written estimate. Originally, I’d started going elsewhere based on the upcharges. Lots of scare tactics and over retail pricing. I gave them one last shot as they offered a free comp car, then later said it wasn’t free despite the invoice, recorded phone conversation and verbal promises. I’d had work done too but then they introduced a new policy saying I needed to spend more. None of this was in writing initially. I agreed via text for additional work but they wanted me to sign an estimate that was incorrect. They didn’t feel like updating up and explained it was just an estimate not an invoice but wanted to hold me to a previous signed “estimate”. This delayed ordering parts which lost them the job. Also their web sites says they’ll price match but they weren’t able to. What should have made my life easier, made it way more complex and emotional than it should have been.

Nealey Tire and Auto did a great job today servicing my vehicle. Ashley and Lenny went above and beyond normal expectations. I really appreciate the incredible service from this repair shop and would highly recommend them.
